Alone has returned to our screens once more with Season 3, and you better grab a flash light, as things are about to get dark. If you hadn't already guessed, the theme that's running throughout Season 3 is darkness, and what that means to each character.
SPOILER WARNING: As you already know, Season 2 left Jill in quite a predicament. She discovered she is having a baby, but is unsure on who exactly the baby-daddy is. Max woke up out of one "hell" of a coma (see what I did there?) and just had to be with Jill again. But then, as these star crossed lovers have learnt, there will always be something keeping them apart, so Max took off to go "find" himself. Then before you know it, hunky new neighbour, Russell, is charming his way into Jill's heart (and bed) merely a week after her true love has made tracks.
To top this off, we get one more big ol' revelation from the evil CEO, Mrs X, who lets slip Jill is her daughter, and her unborn baby will cause all sorts of trouble. What does she have against her daughter anyway? Family, huh?
This accumulates into something far bigger and more dangerous than anyone could have first thought in Season 3.
We see Jill take a different path, one she has yet to venture down, and it leads to darkness. Jill will dig down deep into her evil roots and discover a side of herself she never knew existed, and the worst part of it all... She likes it.

I really wanted to take this opportunity in Season 3 to push certain characters out of their comfort zones and really force them to re-evaluate their identity. Each character has a dark side, and I think we'll get to see that from everyone in Season 3. Even the one person you never thought could fall off the rails, ends up risking it all.
